Email your friends, broadcast on your Facebook status, send out a tweet. Let your network know what you’re looking for. It’s a remarkably reliable system. “Hey, does anyone have a…” That’s how it works.
Many people stockpile items they no longer use because they’re too good to get rid of. (We know who we are…) Most would love nothing more than to pass that special something onto a friend.
Through the largess of my network of family & friends I’ve been able to find:
- a coffee grinder
- a mix master
- a water filter
- a blender
- a ride to San Francisco
Check Freecycle.org and Craigslist.org. Many people are looking for someone who is willing to take their La-Z-Boy for a one-way-ride…
